This year’s international networking event for the search and rescue community – SAREXPO – takes place on 1-3 March in the French Riviera resort of Cannes, to offer a mixture of theory and practice, via presentations, social networking events and more.
This three-day professional development forum will unite SAR workers and industry figures to discuss the vital rescue requirements and programmes needed to mitigate the risk of an isolated incident and fulfil the basic tenet of saving our fellow man.
SAREXPO aims to offer participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and create networks with SAR experts and volunteers from around the world, and meet with top level civil service and government officials, large prime SAR organisations and companies.
There will also be time to experience the latest ‘in-the-field’ technologies, equipment and systems. Delegates will have the chance to attend workshops organised by agencies such as the International Commission for Alpine Rescue (ICAR) and CISA, search and rescue experts, in addition to expert advice from an international panel of speakers.
