A Garda team is getting ready to climb the highest mountain in each province over three days in May to raise funds for Aware’s depression support and mental health education and information services for individuals, families and communities throughout the country.

This latest campaign by members of An Garda Síochána throughout Ireland offers the Force the opportunity to raise funds for this national charity, which also provides key services for local communities nationwide.

All funds raised from the three day event (19-21 May) will go towards Aware’s depression support and mental health education and information services.

The national charity relies on fundraising events such as this upcoming initiative, in addition to both corporate and public donations, for 85 per cent of its annual funding.
